At 15, Jason broke his neck causing him to become a quadriplegic paralyzed from the chest down. Then, at 27 he was involved in a serious car accident that kept him hospitalized the following 13 months requiring over 30 surgeries and 10 years of additional hospitalization and therapy. Jason understands how to overcome adversity and teaches strategies that help everyone to succeed.
After breaking his neck, Jason was told he would never graduate high school, never live away from home, never attend college, never marry, and never achieve gainful employment. His vision, drive and persistence allowed him to prove others wrong by graduating high school, living on his own, graduating from Brigham Young University where he was the student body president to over 22,000 students. He not only found gainful employment but excelled there.
Jason was hired by Mutual of New York where, in his first two months he became a member of the Million Dollar Round Table placing him in the top 6% of the insurance industry worldwide. Jason refused to allow his second accident to stop him as well and currently owns his own company (The Champion Institute). Jason understands what it means to be a Champion, and has taught these principles to over 2,000 groups across the nation and around the world.
